Do you have a shop? We do not have a retail shop we work from a warehouse as most of our work is done on site.
What are your hours? We are available Seven (7) days as follows: Monday to Friday from 9 am until 6 pm, Saturday 9 am until 2 pm and Sunday by appointment. After hour consultations can be arranged.
I called during hours, but no one answered the phone, why? Sometimes we are on another line assisting another client or creating something spectacular and need both our hands, LEAVE A MESSAGE we will quickly return your call, usually within 5-15 minutes.
Do I have to order balloons in advance? We can handle same day and last minute request most of the time. However, we recommend that you place your balloon order at least a week in advance. This allows you to just come in and pick up your order and insures that the balloons you want are available. For balloon decor we recommend booking your scheduled date as soon as possible to make sure that we are available for your event, even if you do not know the specifics of your decor.
Do you deliver? Yes, delivery rates and times can be viewed here.
Can you deliver today? Yes, we offer same day delivery for orders received as late as 3pm in Mount Pleasant and it's surrounding areas and noon in other areas.
Can you deliver to a school or hospital? Yes, we will only deliver non latex balloons, due to latex allergies. Many schools and some medical facilities have restrictions, please contact the facility or school for approval, PRIOR to ordering.
Can you deliver after or before hours or on holidays? Yes, these deliveries must be scheduled in advance and can incur an additional charge according to your delivery request.
How can I confirm that an order has been delivered? You may contact us by phone 843-856-9121 or email.
What forms of payment do you accept? We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, checks are accepted with identification, phone number and ten (10) days prior, there is a return check charge of $35.
How can I prevent my balloons from popping? Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, sharp or hot objects, ceilings and static prone areas. If you desire balloons on the ceiling test release a couple of balloons and be cautious of ceiling fans and air ducts.
How long will my balloons float? Float times vary depending on many factors including: size, temperature, humidity, sea level, exposure to elements. Click here
Do you have that special helium that makes the balloons last longer? You are referring to Hi-Float. Hi-Float is a non-toxic, water soluble liquid sealant that coats the inside/outside of latex balloons and reduces the time that helium escapes from the pores of the balloon thus making your balloons last up to 25 times longer than non treated balloons. All our balloon bouquets include Ultra Hi-Float to allow the recipient to enjoy their balloons for days to weeks.
Do you make donations? Yes, we give donations to a select few local non-profit organizations. Although we may not be able to donate to everyone, we are pleased to offer discounts to all non-profit organizations, schools and churches. Please inquire to see what is available.
Did you go to balloon school? We are (QBN) Qualatex Balloon Network trained and abide by a strict Code of Ethics. We also attend seminars, training classes, trade shows and read many publications. We are constantly learning, designing and experimenting.
QBN Code of Ethics I, Jill Shortreed represent, With Balloons and Party and Play and agree that as a member of the Qualatex Balloon Network our business will:
• Feature only Qualatex latex and, where possible, Qualatex Microfoil balloons.
• Make ongoing training and education a priority and encourage our employees to participate in the QBN program.

What happens if no one is present upon delivery? If you wish to send a balloon bouquet, we recommend that you confirm prior to ordering that the recipient will be present during the scheduled delivery time. If we deliver to a place of business/school/hospital balloons will be left at the front desk. If your delivery is going to a residence, we will call prior to confirm that someone will be available. If no answer we will leave a message and await a return phone call. If a response has not been heard by the end of the day, we will contact you.
I need to change or cancel my order, what do I do? We do not accept cancellation or changes via email or voice mail, you must call 843-856-9121 and speak to someone during regular business hours. Basic Balloon and Bouquet Orders: Canceling: cancellations must be received no later than noon the day prior to delivery and will incur a $15 cancellation fee. Any cancellation received after the noon deadline will result in no refund. If your cancellation consists of special order components or balloons, there will be additional charges to cover costs incurred. Changes/Reschedules: With sufficient notice, same as above, we will happily accept changes or reschedule deliveries, without any additional fees. If the changes result in higher costs, you will be responsible for the difference. Sorry, but once an order is dispatched we can not change it or reschedule it, unless you wish to pay additional delivery charges. Large Orders and Balloon Decor: Canceling: Customer is responsible for cost of special order components or balloons, if not applicable the following applies: orders canceled 3 weeks prior will receive a full refund, 14 to 20 days notice refund less 10%, 7-13 days notice refund less 30%, 4-6 days notice refund less 50%, 3 days notice refund less 90%, under 2 days forfeit all monies. Changes/Reschedule: We will be happy to accommodate any changes as our schedule permits at no additional charge. Customer is responsible for cost of special order components or balloons.
